GRANITE

Granite is generally considered low to moderate maintenance. It is very durable, scratch and heat resistant, and less porous than stones like marble or dolomite. However, because it is natural stone, it should be sealed periodically (usually once a year) to prevent stains and keep it looking polished. Daily cleaning is simple with just some mild soap and water. Compared to high maintenance stones, granite is relatively easy to care for. Best used for countertops, flooring and other surfaces.
