NATRUARL VS ENGINEERED

Natural stone slabs are large, flat pieces of stone that are cut directly from quarried rock and then shaped and polished for use in construction or design. Unlike engineered materials, they’re made from solid, naturally occurring stone including granite, quartzite and dolomite.

Engineered slabs are man-made surfaces created by combining natural materials with resins and pigments, then forming them into large, durable slabs like Quartz.

Stone Finishes

Regular

Majority of our stones are unmarked meaning they are of regular finish, a glossy and shine finish, perfect for everyday use.

Leather

A leather finish gives a textured and matte like finish, best for a natural, rusted look. Due to its texture its suitable for flooring because its generally more more slip resistant. Although it will require more frequent sealing to prevent staining.

Satin

Satin provides a polished, sleek look. Compared to leather finishes a satin finish is easier to clean and maintain.

Dual

Stones marked “dual” indicate that the color is available in either a satin or leather finish, making it easier to identify options available in both. Giving you more flexibility in your selection.
